Repetition and time interval of occupant behavior simulation in buildings

Taking the occupant behavior in air conditioning environment of office buildings as an example, integrates the models of occupant behavior into the energy consumption simulation software DeST and discusses the repetition and time interval of occupant behavior simulation in the buildings. Analyses the results of repetitive simulations with statistical method and puts forward a reasonable repetition to reduce the influence of computing randomness. Comparing the results of cooling energy consumption with several different time intervals, suggests the appropriate time intervals in occupant behavior simulation. Proposes a framework to identify the appropriate simulation repetition and temporal discretization of occupant behavior simulation in buildings.
